So I went round calling myself a Hyperminimalist and everything I did got boggy and confused and the opposite of hyperminimal. So I told myself - do something with only 3 notes. And this is it - this morning's mistresspiece. I got bored after ten minutes of playing three notes on the piano. So I just slowed down the recording till it lasted my new favourite length - 28 minutes.

And this is it. And it's quite good. The creaking in the background is a very very slowed-down recording of the Wiki computer-speak article about the Durutti Column. Hence the title of the "album". The man in the photo is my father-in-law. Today would have been his birthday.

This is the first time I have put an album in Bandcamp at NameYourPrice rather than Free. Any donations will go toward making it possible to further my career in music and maybe do another album and buy a brand new piano and hire a graphic designer to do my album covers so they look like proper album covers and I want to buy a trilby hat so I can look like a proper musician.

What the hell am I talking about ? How much does it cost to be a musician? - to walk six feet and play three notes on a piano and upload it to Bandcamp ? Nothing. And what else would I be doing - watching TV or some other shit. So please don't pay any money.

It is just my little "joke". You'd have to pay me to stop making music. I hope to do another hundred albums before Christmas and they won't cost me a penny to make or you a penny to download and enjoy on that sacred day or any other sacred day.
