FRIDAY 8 FEBRUARY

Apart from the fact that I didn't die - everything that could go wrong in my life chose to go wrong in the last few days and I just rode it all by making music and watching Asian films and going to sleep at odd times of the morning and evening with the Anonymous 4 singing away quietly on repeat - Asian films really put the shiteness of your own life into perspective and make anything bearable.

And the Buddhists say something like once you have a routine or a system then anything is endurable - and it is true. I broke the routine by having a longer-than-usual-gap between Bandcamp albums - but it was all right - the Anonymous 4 were singing all day and all night and I was okay and now I have got back into the routine with a simple easy nice piece of music with singing and some chat from a Japanese film and it's really all right - I've been using tags like "devotional" and "meditation" lately and get more visits from people looking for that kind of music than from people looking for the more hipster types of music like "minimal" and "experimental" - so that's nice. And after I'm dead I shall be famous in lots of ashrams and stuff but I shall never get famous in the cool hip modern ways I yearn for.
